A.E.D.C.H. Executive Committee
AEDCH (in English: "Association for the Solidarity and Development of Haitian Communities") is an official community development CBO (community based organization) recognized by and registered with the Ministre des Affairs Sociale Edutravaille d'Haiti. The Executive Committee is singularly responsible for the vision, governance, and direction of Rebati Kay-la and is comprised of:
Rev. Roland Joseph (President) - Pastor Joseph is a minister and stonemason by trade from Athis (near Fortes Jacques).
Fritzner Altidor (Vice President) - Mr. Altidor is a plumber and electrician by trade from La Boule 32.
Oxius Jean (Secretary) - Mr. Jean is a plumber and electrician by trade as well as a Project Manager from Athis.
Boisman Jean (Assistant Secretary) - Mr. Jean is a foreman and mason by trade from Blanchard 1.
Odelin Chery (Treasurer) - Mr. Chery is a Financial Manager and Project Manager from Pernier.
The Committee is Rebati Kay-la's greatest asset: with over 80 years combined experience in construction, project management, administration, finance, and community leadership, each member brings his unique experience and knowlege of Haitian culture to bear on the project, it's operations, and it's overall effectiveness at the community level.
In addition to the Executive Committe, AEDCH leverages the experience of many professionals including a Haitian statesman, a linguist, and an educator among others. Almost without exception, the individuals working with and for AEDCH are Haitian, with the goal of promoting locally relevant and sustainable community development at all levels.
